[Remember, almost every other mattress you see in Costa Rica is actually an innerspring mattress (it has coils); innerspring mattress here MAY have a minimal (usually undisclosed) amount of memory foam of an undisclosed density on top of the coils. Coiled or innerspring mattresses usually start to sag in the mid section, which is not only uncomfortable, but it fails to support the back which can cause lower back and hip pain. Though nobody likes to think about it, innerspring or coil mattresses can be a haven for dust mites and bed bugs; once infested with bed bugs, the mattress must be discarded.]

Our mattresses have NO coils or springs, are shipped VACUUM SEALED FOR ULTIMATE HYGIENE. We are direct importers of Orthopedic Memory Foam Sleep Products from Rest-Medic Sleep Products, designed and made to U.S. Standards for the North American market, and NOW available in Costa Rica. Our mattresses meet or exceed all U.S. Standards for Fire Retardant Mattresses.

Our PREMIUM Orthopedic Memory Foam mattresses are 8″ thick and the Twin size is the US standard 39″ x 75″ size, so it will fit US sized twin sheets, comforters, etc. The 8″ is constructed of 2″ of 3Lb density Fire Retardant Visco-elastic (memory) Foam, over 6″ of 2Lb density PU Base Support Foam; the cover is a beige Velour with a U-shaped zipper, so it can be removed and washed. It has a Non-Slip Bottom, so it stays on the bed and doesn’t shift the way some mattresses do. This mattress is constructed with an inner cover, called a “Fire Retardant Sock,” which meets/exceeds US Standards for Fire Safety U.S. FR1633 standard, the latest US regulation.

>Our mattresses meet or exceed all U.S.CFR 1633 Fire Retardant Standards; though NOT required in Costa Rica, WE WILL SLEEP BETTER at night knowing that YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE PROTECTED. WE WON’T SELL NON-FIRE SAFETY MATTRESSES. Fire retardant materials, the addition of the inner sock, and the testing to insure standards are consistently met make our products more expensive to produce, but since we are direct importers who work directly with the factory, we save you money for the quality received.

Generally, the higher the density, the better the performance.
